Katelyn is starting to get some more hair, so we put it all in the center for a mohawk look when it was wet. I had no idea it would dry and stay like that.

Toys Anyone?

My friend from church called and said she was getting rid of some infant toys and wanted to know if I wanted them. I said, "Sure!". So, she brought over FIVE bags of toys and stuffed animals. Obviously I don't have room for all this stuff, so if you know of anyone who needs/wants toys or stuffed animals, please let me know and come get them :) I thought I was just taking a picture, but it was on video mode instead. Mom - do you think your school would take a donation?

Vacation

David, Katelyn and I are going on our first official family vacation next month. Heading to the Northwest -- Seattle/Portland area. Any suggestions on anything we should go see/visit while we're out there??

New Calling

I'm getting a new calling today. Any guesses? Ah ha... a few guesses have come in. Here are some more hints:

1. I've had this calling before.
2. It's my dream calling, my #1 choice of callings.
3. Nope, not nursery leader, Shelli, don't even say that :)
4. Nope, not Primary... I've done my time there hopefully enough for a lifetime :)

First Fireworks!!

Here are a few pictures we took on Sunday while Aaron was shooting off some fireworks in Big Mama's back yard. I didn't even know you could buy fireworks like that!! It was KEWL!

She was doing it a little bit last night but it didn't fully register that my baby was ACTUALLY doing this, but luckily David was smart enough to get the camera today! We are in soooo much trouble :)

Her First July 4th! Long but worth it!

July 4th and Baby Dumbo

David and I went to Downtown Disney last night to have dessert at Ghirardelli. We walked around a bit afterwards and saw the cutest little stuffed animal. David bought it for Katelyn and she really seems to like it :)

What Not To Do

I was telling David that we shouldn't put stuffed animals or anything else in the crib with Katelyn while she's sleeping because of suffocation possibilities. (Yea, I'm a freak). So, I had been giving her the little doggie to settle her down, but then waiting 10 minutes until she fell asleep and going back and taking it out of the crib. Well, she sure showed me. As I saw this pose, I feared I couldn't get it away from her without waking her up. But it was such a cute pose, I had to take a picture. Well, when the flash didn't wake her up, I figured I could get the doggie out, which I did. But I think that little Doggie is her friend :)
