Just Because

Aunt Shelli asked me why I said "Katelyn is just so cute, I can't stand it". I said it was nothing in particular, but that I could just watch her all day long. Here's a glimpse.

This is probably the image I'll have in my mind when she's taking her driver's test and I'm reminiscing how "just yesterday she was a baby".

Sticky Keys

OK, we finally figured out what Kate did to my computer, so I have to share in case it happens to you. She turned on my Sticky Keys. So she must have pressed the shift key five times, then enter, then the Windows key. The result was that every key I pressed was like I was holding down the Windows key. To turn that feature off, you just press the shift key five times and click on cancel. Whew! What a long research process to figure that one out!

Can't believe it!

I came home from work early so that I could take care of Kat while David went to class. I had to finish my work, so I was in the office, but had to leave for just ONE minute to do something. This is how I found the situation when I came back. I knew she had started climbing on the couch, but didn't know she had advanced to climbing up on the office chair. I promise she was on the floor playing just 60 seconds ago. She was trying to sit down when I took this picture, she was fully standing when I walked in and moving the mouse all around. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out why when I tried to type u, the Utility Manager kept coming up. Then I had to figure out how she got all my screens to be in these neat little boxes where I could see each of them at the same time (I guess she somehow did Tile Horizontally). Sheesh... every minute, I tell ya, watch her every minute!! Incidentally I wish I had video of how fast she was moving that mouse around when I walked in. It was perhaps the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

Working Out!

David has been working out all week and Katelyn spied the water bottle, so she decided she would drink from it just like Daddy... at least that's the explanation I got when I came home and there was drops of water all around the living room floor. How cute!!

David was trying to figure out a way to feed Katelyn without her getting food in her hair since they were going out. Pretty inventive, wouldn't you say?
