We got one of those gates in our kitchen too...ours is to keep the dogs out of the living room, off my new furniture, and the boys' rooms and keep Ranger from bolting out the front door everytime it is open. I LOVE IT! One of my better investments.
She will figure out how to open it or climb over it in a few weeks!Dad
