My Favorite Calling (and a cake made to look like it)

One day my old roommate was teaching a lesson on Temples. She made this cake. It has a square large bottom layer, then a smaller layer, then can you figure out how the steeple was made? Why, it's an upside down ice cream cone, complete with a candle on the top to represent the Angel Moroni that can be found on the tops of most of the Temples.

This is the Orlando Florida Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I can't figure out if it's more beautiful during the day or at night as shown.

Visit of the Flowers - June 2005

This is what happens when he gets a little tired but still
wants to play one of his favorite games.... Twister! Isn't he cute??
Yes, as you can tell, there aren't a lot of toys at PJ's house. If you really want to play with something, I bring out the big guns, also knows as Tupperware. He seemed to have just as much fun with them than he would with "real" toys!
One of my favorite pieces of furniture is shown here. My Cordaroy's Bean Bag Chair. There's nothing more comfortable, especially when you use the ottoman. Relaxing on one of my favorite pieces of furniture is one of my favorite nephews. Life doesn't get better than looking at this adorable face!

My Great Grandfather

This is a plaque in Pioneer Park. It states, "Dedicated to the Memory of the Pioneers and their families whose vision and Leadership helped create St. Petersburg, Florida". My grandfather, George W. Stiles' name is on the
bottom left of this plaque and I thought it would be neat to put some genealogy and family history on this blog.

Valentine's Day - 2003

I guess I'll post the picture of me and my roommate at the time out of respect for the current wife of my date at the time :) My roommate and I went on a double date to this "Sweetheart Dance" at my Church. We had more fun than we've had in a long time!!! Then the four of went out to eat afterwards and laughed and laughed.
